God once did a miraculous thing. He sent his son to die for us, and he raised him from the dead. He did this so that we may have a new life here and everlasting life with him.

But it is sad to know that millions of people in the world don't know that!

They don't know about God, they don't know about the Bible, and they don't have any way of finding out!

Unless.......WE go and tell them.

That is why the Bible tells us to go................and we must go.

Day III of baby week

Today is Day Three of Baby week at our house!

First thing this morning he got a bath... he loved it!

Then he got all dry-dry.

As I watch him play and smile and sleep, I wonder........why would anyone deny themselves this blessing? Why turn down this precious gift from God?

God tells us in the Bible that all babies are a blessing from Him. I pray that someday all people will understand that as I do this week.

He gives us high-fives, and it's so cute!

His smile is too precious for words!

Every time I look at him, I thank God for little boys!!!

Why Jo's Corner?

I know this is my second post, but.......welcome to my blog!!! My name is Josie, which is what my parents and some of my friends call me. My name is actually JoHannah. I'd like to share with you how I got my name. I'm named after Hannah from the Bible. I only hope I can have as much faith as she had. The Jo part of my name came from my grandaddy, whose name was Joseph. After fighting cancer for several years, my Grandaddy died last fall. I miss him so much, and I wanted to set up this blog site in his memory. While my grandaddy was alive, he always wanted me to have something named Jo's Corner. He didn't care if it was a booth at an antique store or a blog site; he just loved that name. And so this blog site is dedicated to my grandaddy, who I will always love and remember.

Spending the day with my nephew

This is my nephew, Brooks. And, yes, he is ALWAYS smiling!
His Mommy, Daddy and brothers are gone on a trip; so we are keeping him for seven days! Yippee!!! Today was the second day, and we have had a blast! Brooks woke up bright and early this morning, and he sat in his bed smiling until we picked him up. He's so sweet.

This afternoon he got a pillow off the couch, laid in the kitchen, and went to sleep on it!

Very cute, right?

So now I am going to go play with "my best buddy" :o)
